Meet Our Shamans

Let us introduce you to a few of our most powerful Shamans. All of them were chosen for the authenticity, purity, and heart they show in their work.

▲ Sacred Traditions

Two Ancient Lineages

We work with two distinct but complementary traditions of Peruvian plant medicine, each carrying thousands of years of ancestral wisdom.

Shipibo Lineage

Amazonian Ayahuasca Curanderos

From the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, the Shipibo people have been the guardians of Ayahuasca for millennia. Their curanderos (healers) work with the sacred vine of the soul, channeling powerful icaros (healing songs) that connect us to the intelligence of the plant kingdom.

Andean Lineage

Native Spiritualists from the Andes

From the high mountains of the Sacred Valley, the Q'ero people — known as the last living heirs of the Inka tradition — carry the mystical wisdom of the Apus (mountain spirits) and Pachamama (Mother Earth). Their ceremonies focus on energy work, offerings, and the sacred medicine of San Pedro (Wachuma).

Jonas Lloel Inuma Arevalo

"Ranin Beso" — The awakening of a new generation

I am Shipibo and was born in the community of San Francisco in the Amazonian jungle of Pucallpa, Peru. I am 30 years old and have practiced the medicine of Ayahuasca since I was 12 years old. My grandfathers taught me. This teaching is from generation to generation. This is why I started practicing early to not lose the tradition.

My first Maestro was my grandfather, he initiated me into the world of the medicine of Ayahuasca. Then, I had other Maestros who have passed away. Finally, I went deeper into the teaching of the medicine thanks to my aunt Maestra Enith.

I also studied Acupuncture and Massage for 5 years with Maestro Jhon Tindal from Boston, USA, who himself learned the practice of Acupuncture in China. He gave courses in our community until the Pandemic in 2020, to complement the healing of Ayahuasca. By channeling the points of the body, I am able to release especially physical ailments of the patients.

Now, I am working at the Retreat center of hermana Chaska (Zahra) Punqu Inner Travel in Cusco.

Ruth Meri Usca Callañaupa

"Roxana" — Sunrise light

I was born March 5th, 1985, from my mother Julia Callañaupa Atauchi and father Leoncio Usca Oraica, in Urubamba, Cusco, in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Growing up in the heart of the Sacred Valley, I was immersed in the living traditions of the Andes from birth. My family has been the keeper of ancestral ceremonies for generations, passing down the sacred knowledge of Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (mountain spirits) through oral tradition and direct experience.

As a Maestra, I specialize in Mystical Andean Ceremonies that reconnect participants with the wisdom of the earth and the cosmos. My work includes energy cleansings (limpias), offerings to Mother Earth (despachos), and the sacred use of medicinal plants native to the high Andes.

I bring the feminine wisdom of the Andes to every ceremony I hold — a wisdom that honors intuition, nurturing, and the sacred cycle of life. My role is to create a safe, loving container where healing can unfold naturally, guided by the spirits of this sacred land.

Toribio Quispe

Keeper of Ancestral Knowledge

My name is Toribio Quispe, a son of the Q'eros community, and my journey as an Andean master began when I was just 13 years old. Since then, I have dedicated my life to learning and practicing the ancestral knowledge of my people. In my youth, I trained alongside wise men and masters from the Andean region and other parts of Peru. Each teaching I received was a seed that flourishes today in my spiritual work.

In my community, the Q'eros, spirituality is part of the fabric of daily life. We are known as the last living heirs of the Inka tradition. Our paths are guided by the Apus (tutelary spirits of the mountains), by Pachamama, and by the ancestral spirits. From a very young age, I learned with deep respect from the Kuraq Akulliq masters, wise bearers of the occult sciences, guardians of sacred knowledge, divine messengers, and bearers of souls and spirits.

They taught me that being a teacher is not a title, but a service to the balance of the world and the well-being of others. Over time, I became an Andean spiritual facilitator, leading ceremonies of reverence to the earth, energy cleansings, karpays (transmission of spiritual power), and other sacred rituals.

My path also led me to the jungle of Peru, where I began working with master plants, especially Ayahuasca, which revealed to me profound mysteries of the soul and the human spirit. Today, I am also an Ayahuasca master, guiding healing and consciousness-expanding processes with respect and responsibility. I also accompany ceremonies with Wachuma (San Pedro), a sacred medicine of the heart, which helps open the senses and achieve spiritual clarity.

Now over 50 years old, I continue on this path with the same dedication I had when I was young. I have had the honor of traveling to other countries, sharing the wisdom of the Andes and carrying the message of respect, harmony, and reconnection with nature.

Lino Quispe

Son of Hopi, Bearer of Water and Transformation

My name is Lino Quispe, I am 29 years old, and I was born under the sign of Aquarius, bearer of water and transformation. I am an Andean master and spiritual facilitator with over 10 years of experience in sacred ceremonies. My path did not begin alone; rather, it is part of an ancestral lineage deeply rooted in the spiritual tradition of the Q'ero nation.

My spiritual apprenticeship began at age 15, guided by my paternal grandfather, Bernabé Quispe, a respected kuraq akulliq master (the wise man who masters the art of akulliy, or reading and offering with coca leaves). It was he who passed on my first knowledge to me: how to read nature's messages, how to make offerings to Pachamama, and how to walk the sacred paths with respect. His knowledge also came from further back, from my great-grandfather, another Andean master whose legacy still resonates in the mountains and ceremonies of our community.

Later, I continued my spiritual formation with my father, Master Toribio Quispe (Hopi), who taught me to serve others from the heart, with compassion, discipline, and responsibility. He showed me how to help others through energy cleansings, gratitude ceremonies, and the sacred use of medicinal plants. In our community, where there are no nearby hospitals, healing is a collective spiritual task. Each member learns to protect and care for their family with the wisdom that the Apus and Pachamama offer us.

This is how I developed my path as a paq'o (spiritual guide), not only as an apprentice, but as an heir to a lineage. Over the years, I have delved deeper into traditional Andean ceremonies, leading offerings to Mother Earth, karpays (transmission of ancestral power), and spiritual attunement rituals.

For more than 10 years, I have facilitated Andean ceremonies with deep respect and love. Over five years ago, I began working with Wachuma (San Pedro), a master plant that opens the heart and reveals inner truth. For over two years now, I have been leading processes with Ayahuasca in safe, sacred contexts, connected to tradition.

Why Lineage Matters

In the world of plant medicine, authenticity is everything. Our shamans don't just practice the traditions — they are born into them, carrying thousands of years of wisdom in their blood and bones.

Generational Knowledge

Joel learned from his grandfathers at age 12. Hopi began at 13. Lino at 15, guided by his grandfather and father. This is not learned from books — it's lived, breathed, and passed down through direct experience.

Living Communities

Our shamans come from active, traditional communities — the Shipibo in the Amazon and the Q'eros in the high Andes. They maintain deep ties to their people and continue to learn from elder masters.

Authentic Practice

These are not weekend shamans or spiritual tourists. They have dedicated their entire lives — often starting in childhood — to mastering the sacred arts. Their authority comes from decades of service and devotion.
